Hey all. Just grabbed ModPlayer a few hours ago. It's nice to not have to carry around my old 4G iPod to listen to mods. (I ported MikMod to iPodLinux a few years back - "MikModule", pics of it here: umlautllama.com/rand/?q=pz2-mikmodule ) In any event, After seeing the web browser in ModPlayer (very nice idea), I just created a quick little PHP script that does the "file listings" in an iPhone style. The script itself is umlautllama.com/mods/fileBrowse.php.txtYou can also see how it works here: umlautllama.com/mods/Enjoy! (Also, that's my personal collection of mods, accumulated since 1992 or so.)

fantastic script! i've modified it a little for my use by adding:-
if ($file != "EdgeToEdge.css") at the beginning of the printAnEntry function
This stops it listing the css file if it is in the same dir

The original repository link in the app happens to be the one repository which had mod files not in a zip file and had a few of the ones I remembered from when I first started collecting mods. I don't know who runs it, but eventually, I'd like to gather some repositories to link to on a central page. My personal collection of favorites is lost somewhere in piles and piles of CDRW backups of my old computers. I'll have to post it up once I find it.

My personal collection of favorites is lost somewhere in piles and piles of CDRW backups of my old computers. I'll have to post it up once I find it. Mine was like that too. I made a simple script that catalogued a cd i inserted to my computer (did just a simple ls -lR to a file), one file per disc... numbered them as I did it. From there, it's just a simple matter of grepping a directory of text files. It's amazing how easy it is to find stuff now. Anyway, until last year, i had one disc i kept on re-mastering with new content of all of my mods, but a few months back, I decided to go through it all, sort it, and pick out my favorites... now I have it on my local computer, ipod, S3, and that weburl.
