Gotta say, love the program! First decent tracker for iPod Touch! A few things I have noticed. Sometimes, downloading throught the inluded browser doesnt completly download the tracks (this could have been how I uploaded them to my host, I am looking into this. I have however uploaded many of my favorite tunes to my iPod Touch via SSH however so that is not an issue for me. Another issue is some tracks won't show up for me even after SSH'd. The issue may be in the fact that these are cracktro's and sometimes they don't play quite right in some players (XMplay plays them wrong and Winamp says they are corrupt. These tunes in question play flawlessly in BeRo tracker, I am testing other trackers right now)
This is the first old school media player that supports playing outside tracks (The SID player thats also on the store only seemingly supports the ones that are included in his repo [is this the phrase I am looking for?])
That said this app was money well spent. Keep up the much excelent work!

Hey! Glad to know you found it worthwhile So let's see, if a track you uploaded via SSH doesn't show up, maybe there's something funny about the file name. The table view refreshes on various events, the easiest of which is restarting the app. However it'll only populate it if it's a file type that's supported by the app, based off the file extension. If you click on it and it crashes, then it's probably a some sort of corruption or weirdness in the file since I'm passing it to a normal libMikMod loader. Additionally, if the file is being downloaded but doesn't seem to show up afterwards, there's a possibility that the download progress is on the Player pane. If it fails or errors out, the temporary file in the background gets removed automatically. I'm working on trying to get the downloading status worked out better as well as trying to add functionality to download and decompress zip files. So in the future, you might be able to browse over to The Modarchive and source stuff from there too. Let me know if you have any ideas what you'd be interested in seeing, and I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

All right, so you'd like some sort of favorites/bookmarks for the browser. I'll look into that.
Is it possible for one of you to point me to a URL which I can download from and see the problem for myself?

Thanks! As far as i know, the extentions are peachy (they play just fine in XMPlay and BeRo. The Modules in question come with an AA-lib demo, BB ( pouet.net/prod.php?which=6176 ). As for the other tracks ripped from cracks, i can assume that they are indeed corrupt, as XMplay doesnt play them accuratly but BeR tracker plays them flawlessly. I am working on seeing if i can reexport them via BeRo (or my other tracking program i am in the process of reinstalling, forgot the name at the moment). That said if i remember proper i had a track that plays weird in XMplay and plays fine in the ModPlayer on iTouch. I will look into this a bit further tonight. As for features, maybe a visual or something to look at while song is playing, or perhaps even watching the tracks go by, and if possible ability to play while its on lock or something. That would be neat.

Wow.... what an embarrassing bug. There's two bugs regarding downloading and listing files that you guys may have been seeing. 1) If you start a download while the web browser is still downloading the page, sometimes the download aborts because it picks up a bad URL from the web page. 2) In some cases, files with extensions that are not all lowercase will fail to show up.
I've fixed these while cleaning up some code and will be posting an update for approval soon.

I haven't been able to get bookmarks in as a feature yet. This will take some time since I'm trying to figure out how it should be put together.
So far, here's what's almost ready for the next update: 1) A bunch of bug fixes during downloading and viewing the downloaded files list. 2) active downloads will appear in the library/downloads tab. 3) zips files will be supported. This means you can go to modarchive.org and download straight from them. Additionally, if you pack a bunch of your files into a zip file and put it on a server, you can simply download that one zip file and it'll unpack all the mod files. (there is a possibility that the app may run out of memory if the zip file is too big, so be careful and let me know if it happens.)
A question, do you think I should rename that last tab to something else?

You talk about the "downloads" tab ? it's not very important, you could spell it "Library" if you want, but a more neat feature will be a search possibility like the contact list... I mean the sort by alphabetic and the possibility to search with the scroll letters (you see what I mean ?)

Ah, that'd be good; It'd probably require splitting the current downloads section out though.
I'm trying to figure out good ways of laying out the screens so that they're easily accessed, but I don't want to end up having tons of tabs on the bottom like the iPod app since it then gets kinda confusing.
I ought to just finish checking a few things over and send out what I've got as an update.

All right, I submitted a new version to the store for approval. I didn't change the downloads/library nor add a search feature, but I spend several days working on one more little thing that you might like

I guess it's kinda weird, but yes it'll continue to play. It should be really gone after the app quits.
